We conducted an online survey of 5,000 U.S. adults who celebrate a winter holiday. The research was commissioned by Zeno Group on behalf of their client, Hershey, ahead of the holiday season.
Results revealed Americans’ top ten most popular holiday traditions – including decorating the Christmas tree, exchanging gifts and watching a favorite holiday movie. We then compared state-by-state data to create a heat map illustrating the variations in holiday traditions across the country.
A custom designed ‘holiday traditions candy pairing guide’ was also produced, matching a Hershey candy to each of the most popular traditions unveiled in the survey.
